C/S RESPECT GI

C/S stands for "Con Safos".

Chicano Graffiti artists would put it on their placa, (their art) to let other Graffiti take heed. “What you see is with all due respect. But, don’t mess with the message or there will be consequences.”

C/S was also adopted by the Tattoo world and in that world it's interpreted to mean, “Done with respect.” By having a C/S tattoo usually placed on your right hand so it can be seen when you shake a persons hand, it is a symbol to show, you are some to be respected.
